Self Love Sunday
Self love to me starts with the act of being kind to yourself I believe the way you talk to someone you love is the way you should talk to yourself. It is so important to nourish your mind with the good stuff fill your self love tank with the things that make you happy, that make you feel passion and purpose that give you a WHY…
Your own well being and happiness is 100% number one priority so by practising the things you love and the things that ease your mind than this will help you see and believe the love you have for yourself. In order to reciprocate self love you need to first start with yourself.
Here are some of my tips on practising self love:
I make a list of ten blessings in my life that I am grateful for i place it on my mirror and read them every time I wake up.
Move your body, I Exercise daily even if its 20-30mins
I always say good morning and goodnight and I Love You, I Miss You to my partner as he works FIFO.
I always keep a book on myself as i believe nourishing your mind with positive words and affirmations is a MUST.
I listen to motivational podcasts or my favourite music in the car, on my walks.
Ive made an inspiration board and placed it in my office as I am in their daily and it reminds me of all my goals.
“YOU time” doesn’t matter what it is make sure it’s something you love doing or that relaxes you… i like to get my hair washed and blowdried.
I allocate 5-10mins to Meditate daily.
Making time for my family and friends.
Surrounding myself with likeminded people.
I Fuel my body with healthy nutritious foods.
Before I go to sleep i like to listen to some relaxing sleep tunes to relax my mind. I also have a cup of sleep tea and use magnesium spray.
By practising these tips daily it helps me stay focused and positive for the day and week ahead. Which in turn makes me feel happier in myself. So that I can reciprocate the happiness and love I feel for myself to others around me.
