I celebrated a win on Sunday! I did my 20th Studio Pilates class at the Wellington Point Studio. CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES COME ON!! Studio Pilates is a total body exercise, developed almost one hundred years ago by Joseph Pilates, to rehabilitate injured WW1 soldiers and later, for strength and conditioning of dancers, pretty cool right?
I decided after having my third child via a C Section, that I wanted to give reformer pilates a try. I had heard from one of my girl friends how much it had helped her with her postpartum recovery, plus I wanted to re build my body, make it strong and allow it to recover safely before returning to my usual high-intensity workouts that I love and have done for years now. During this process though I feel in love with pilates. I have a Studio Pilates down the road from me, with 3 young children , this was so convenient as I could sneak off early morning when David (my husband) was not working and do a class.
The classes go for a total of 45 minutes, you only have to arrive 5 minutes early and you just need light workout clothes and some grippy socks. Because I’m used to high-intensity workouts or home work outs using weights, I found it took a while to get out of the mindset that you really have to be dripping with sweat to get a workout. NOT TRUE BY THE WAY! Although I do still love to sweat a few days a week at home, these Studio Pilates classes were really something my body was loving. I found it helped to sculpt my body in places I have always struggled with. I mentally felt strong too, as I feel I was also practicing mindfulness in the class. I would concentrate so hard on the movements that my mind would only focus on one thing and that was PILATES!! I would also be so proud of my body and what it could achieve each class.
The class starts with a stretch, while you do that, the instructor comes and personally greats each individual. They also check in on how you are feeling and if you have any injuries. I loved this as I could explain about my scar and how I was feeling that morning after a night of breastfeeding haha. They were really supportive of each client and their individual journey. They also are there to modify the exercise if need be for you if you do have injuries or if you are more experienced. I find it very personalised.
I feel my body is starting to feel stronger, look more sculpted and my T Zone area and Pelvic floor muscles are improving with each class. I love what it is doing for my posture too, I have a natural arch in my back, so I have found that these classes are helping me to switch my abdominal muscles, pull them in and support my body when I am holding my babies or doing simple daily tasks. I look forward to working hard in future classes to continue to improve my strength too. I will be adding in some more cardio and weighted classes in the next month along side my Studio Pilates classes. So I look forward to seeing more progress and how Studio Pilates can compliment that too. I have made some new friends, found a new passion and I love that I am seeing improvement every class. From the moment I finished the orientation class I have been hooked, I will defiantly be continuing. Will keep you updated!

So we recently welcomed a new addition to the Bingham tribe, our darling Lottie Jean. So upgrading our nappy bag size was a must for us. I have a 3 year old boy, Cruz, a 18month girl, Winter Rose and a newborn baby girl, Lottie. 2 days a week its just Lottie and myself but the other 5 days we will head out on adventures as a mini tribe. I have had a few messages from you mumma’s asking what we pack in our nappy bag. So here it is lovelies…
Firstly the nappy bag I choose was the Storksak Stevie Luxe in black scuba. I choose this bag because it was a decent size (being a mum of 3), however it is super lightweight to carry. It has lots of compartments to keep your bag organised, which we all know “sparks joy” thank you Marie Kondo for reminding us of those oh so good feels. It also keeps your essentials stored safely. There is even a cheeky cooler at the back of the bag with a hidden zip for easy access to the baby bottle. This has come in handy for me as I have had to pump EBM every three hours so I didn’t have to hunt through the bag when she got hungry. The bag comes with a cooler bag, I have used this to not only store milk but snacks too. You can even use it as a cooler bag for your lunch, once you no longer need a nappy bag. There is also a luxurious size changing mat with pocket storage, so it is easy to take out of the bag and it covers the surface area of most changing tables in the parents rooms.
So what is in the nappy bag this time round you ask…
- Nappies of course, I have a mixture of both cloth and disposable.
- Wipes, I make my own and store in a travel sealed container (see recipe here) or love Water Wipes.
- Change Mat, I love to use a reusable one to look after the environment. My nappy bag came with one ,but you can buy one from Storksak if you don’t already have one. The parents rooms can be a little gross or there might not be somewhere to change your bub, so you can just do it in the pram or on the floor with the mat.
- Hand Sanitiser, just a small one is fine. I make my own non toxic one with essential oils and aloe vera gel.
- Outfits for the baby, just one spare in case of emergency poop. For my toddler I have spare undies (because toilet training).
- Snacks for all of us and bottles for the girls (still breastfeeding to but expressing). I like to stick to easy snacks like fruit, popcorn, bliss balls, mini muffins.
- Not always, but depending on where we go I like to put a small activity or toys in the bag like colouring pencils and a pad or cars for my son.
- A muslin wrap, this can be doubled as a cover for bub or tie the two corners around the neck and its a breastfeeding cover. Great if bub falls asleep and you can cover the pram with it. I always like to keep a pram peg in the bag to, just to secure if need be.
- I currently need an organic or natural baby/nipple balm. I buy one that can do both.
- A disposable bag to store a dirty nappy. Just in case there is not a bin around.
CADDY STROLLER ORGANISER LUXE is handy if you are just heading out for a few hours. Fits a packet of wipes, 2 nappies, baby bottle, my wallet and phone.

I have been friends with Tahlia for a little over three years. Prior to that we may have passed each other by as we both grew up around Brisbane and went to the same gym. Our real connection started when we caught up with our little babes, Cruz and Summer. It’s been beautiful having our friendship blossom over time as well as watching our growing family create the same friendships and bonds too. You know when the universe just guides you and you just know that we were destained to be best friends (just like the movie Step Brothers when they go DID WE JUST BECOME BESTFRIENDS? moment).

So I have been lucky enough to be able to collaborate again for the third time with Mt Gravatt Skoda. This time round I am test driving the all new 2018 Skoda Koraq, this time its for a few months so I can really get a feel for the car and share what I love about it with you all. So I have practically taken over the Skoda again. Hung up my essential oil diffuser, bluetoothed my iphone to the speakers, packed my double pram in the boot, put a picnic blanket in side door and placed the kiddies car seats in the back seats. So I have turned this sexy little number into a practical family get up haha!! I have been driving the Skoda (in a sexy grey might I add), for 2 months now. I am starting to really get a feel for it as if it was my own (I wish right?).
Apart from it being the most sexiest car I have ever driven around town, here is what I am loving so far…
The car door lights on the ground – This is not only clever marketing for SKODA as the lights on the floor say Skoda, but its an oh so practical feature that I LOVE. I have a dark garage and when you open the front doors up the lights instantly come on so you know where you are putting your feet down before hopping out the car. Also great if you are a little unsure where you have parked to.
Plenty of room for the car seats – You have the option to put in car seats or boosters in the back. They have super easy adapters to fit the car seats in securely and the kiddies have plenty of leg room. Skoda have even installed an iPad or smart phone adapters so your kiddies can watch them at a safe distance from their eyes while you drive if you wish.
Rain Sensor – Okay, okay so I haven’t used this feature that much as I live in QLD and we are currently in the middle of a drought. We did however have some rain earlier this week and the window wipers instantly came on when I was driving. The wipers were running at right speed for the amount of rain. The car also have a rain breaking feature to as a safety bonus. I am yet to try this as of yet.
The Boot is HUGE – Yes multiple times I put the double pram in, my weeks worth of shopping from the market and stuff for the kiddies. We have also been know to picnic in the boot to hehe.
Apple Car Play – Bonus for me as I have an iPhone and I just plugged my USB cord into the car and my phone was easy to navigate via the 8 inch touch screen. The speakers are unreal too, besides listening to the wiggles a fair bit, I have definitely given them a run for their money with my RNB Beats haha. Gotta enjoy those flashbacks to my party days as a mumma haha. I also love that I can listen to my podcasts as I drive which stream straight from my iPhone through the Apple Car Play system.
I also love that you can change song/volume on the steering wheel, which allows you have to more focus on the road.
City Emergency Braking – I love this feature a lot, the kiddies talk to me in the car. So if I accidentally look through the review mirror a little to long to chat to them, the car literally has your back.
Dual Zone Climate Control Air Conditioning and Heated Seats – I loved this feature. The hubby doesn’t like it that cool in the car and I do. So we can both choose our temp we like. There is also a vent for the back seat of the car to so the whole car can stay at the temperature you would like it. I love the heated sets to, again each front passenger has a choice if they would like this feature on. You can choose up to three different parts of the chair to be heated, so you can warm your back as well. It was pure luxe using it through those cooler mornings.
The Cooler in the Glove Box – I love this feature as I am able to keep my smoothie or juice cool on a long drive.
Parking Assistance – If you want to reverse parallel park or just get into a tight car park. The Skoda Koroq can help you with that. It’s pretty epic! A must try if you go for a test drive. I love the safety cameras/sensors around the car to, they alert you if you are close to something. I love this safety feature, especially having young children and pets.
Okay okay so I can rave about this car, but want are some things that I wish they could improve.
A holder for Coffee Cups or Water Bottles hehe. This is something that is a struggle for me as I would love some more space for my long drives.
I actually can’t really fault the car anymore as I absolutely love it. So beautiful to drive.

For the last 13 years I have always worked in the Mining and Construction industry in an office environment working Monday to Friday in the Human Resources and Recruitment department.
Since I was a little girl I have always had this beautiful and happy sparkle inside of me that just longed to help people, somehow? 🌸
Now fast forward to where I am today and since joining the 30’s club last year is where I really started to dive deeper in to the person I am and how I can really get my passion and vision out there more….which brings to me where I am now 😊
I share my passions for fitness, food, fashion across my page as well as keeping it raw & real “with no sprinkles” added on feelings of self doubt and breaking the mental health stigma, especially anxiety which I talk about even though it’s really hard at times.
So here is what I do to fill up my own love bucket;
✨I enjoy drinking my warm lemon water and apple cider vinegar every morning to flush out the unwanted toxins and wake up my body.
✨I move my body at the gym most days of the week, even if it’s just a walk. I find this really good for my mental state.
✨Drinking 2-3L of water every day.
✨I celebrate any proud moment I achieve and actually ‘pat myself on the back’.
✨Speaking positive words of affirmation daily – eg. “I am strong” “I approve of myself” “I am proud of the person I am and who I am becoming” “I love and accept myself”
✨Spending time with your loved ones whether it’s a beach day, watching a movie or going for a walk.
✨Making delicious treats in the kitchen and getting creative.
✨On the days you don’t feel yourself – choose to be a little more kinder and gentle to yourself and say out loud “its okay”.
✨Give yourself some time out for you even if its only 30 minutes🙏🏽
✨Go buy yourself a book that really sings to your heart, I really love self-love books.
✨Reminding yourself its okay to say no sometimes.
✨Have a dance off or sing it out to one of your favourite songs, I often do this in the car and shake off any energy that isn’t serving me🙌🏽

Day 1 of #livingclean410aday challenge.
I found it pretty easy food wise. Was hard not to use my usual staples of coconut oil, Manuka honey, vanilla protein powder etc. I’m only allowed to use herbs and spices to flavour my food. I really really missed my coffee today as well. But I had a boiled water instead. Still felt like I was drinking something nice I guess hahaha.
Meal 1 – Green overnight oats.
Meal 2 – 2 X Quinoa rice cakes. Sweet & Savoury.
Meal 3 – Bolognese and Zoodles.
Meal 4 – Tofo and egg Zoodle rice stir fry.
Now all I want is healthy chocolate. But I guess I will have to wait to Saturday. 😭. Will post the recipes up on the blog tonight.
Recipes for the meals from Day 1
60g organic oats
1 leaf kale
1 leaf spinach
40mls coconut water
1/2 tsp cinnamon
30-40g frozen blueberries
1 tbsp Greek yogurt
Blend ingredients Cook oat mixture in stove top or microwave and pour into your jar, I poured some in Cruzies jar too.
Slice 1/4 Apple into the jars, then top with 1 tbsp Greek yogurt, and scoop of frozen blueberries.
I made the night before. So it’s easy to just grab out the fridge and eat after my walk.
Note – can enjoy hot or cold.
Rice cakes with sweet & savoury topping.
Sweet – 1 rice cake with peanut butter, sliced apple and blueberry
Savoury – 1 rice cake with cottage cheese, fresh chives and cucumber
Tofo and Vegetable Stir Fry.
100g organic tofo
1 tsp garlic & Ginger
Pinch of chilli and squeeze of lime
1 tbsp peanut butter
Handful of greens – Pak Choy, spinach
Zucchini noodle 50g
3 tbsp brown rice
1. In a wok, fry up the tofo in the garlic, peanut butter and ginger.
2. Add in the greens and vegetables. Mix through until cooked.
3. Mix in the brown rice.
4. Add in lime juice chilli.
5. Serve immediately.
Spaghetti bowl with Zoodles
150g heart smart mince
1/4 tin tomatoes with basil and tomato
1 zucchini spirilised
1 tbsp cottage cheese
1. Cook mince in 1 tbsp garlic in a large pan until brown.
2. Mix tin tomatoes, chives and mushrooms.
3. Simmer on low heat for 20min.
4. In a saucepan sauté the zucchini noodle.
5. Serve mince on top of Zoodles, place a serving of cottage cheese on top.

Day 2 of #livingclean410aday challenge.
Today was good, but I decided I needed to eat a little more as I was so hungry when I woke up this morning.
Meal 1 – Healthy Pancakes
Meal 2 – Rice cakes X 3 with peanut butter and a apple
Meal 3 – Tuna, rice, greens
Meal 4 – Green Smoothie and rice on the side
Meal 5 – Shepard Pie
I’m feeling confident I can do this. Was so close to sneaking a coffee today, but then I thought NO I am just cheating my self.
I am happy I am sticking to my goals.
Cottage Pie with Greens.
150g heart smart mince
1/4 tin of organic tin tomatoes with basil and oregano
1/2 tsp curry powder
120g cooked sweet potato mash
1 tbsp cottage cheese
1/2 tsp chopped chives
1. Brown mince in the fry pan.
2. Add in tin tomatoes.
3. Mix in the curry powder and grated zucchini.
4. Allow to simmer until cooked.
5. Boiled the sweet potato. Once cooked mash and add in cottage cheese.
6. In a oven proof dish place mince mixture on the bottom.
7. Spoon the mash on top evenly.
8. Place under the grill on high for 10min to brown slightly the mash the top.
This was by far one of my favourite meals so far.
1/4 red apple
1. Blitz all ingredients in the blender.
2. Cook mini pancakes in the fry pan.
3. Serve with Greek yogurt, blueberries and banana.
Tuna, brown rice, broccoli, kale, spinach and Zoodles.
Served with a boiled water.

It can be very tricky to find a nursing bra that can deliver on all fronts.
I was looking for comfort, support and something that still fit when my boobs were forever changing shape due to feeds. I was after something that did all the above plus I could workout in it too.
I remember my first high, interval, intensity workout. All I can say is ouch. I wore my usual pre pregnancy crops (mind you I only used to have small size A mozzie bites ha) to hold up my new big full boobies. They bounced every where. My nipples hurt and they had no support at all. When I was doing sprints, I almost cried because they hurt so much. Trying to feed a hungry baby after my workout was a night mare too. I had to try and pull down straps and they would pull right round my neck. I needed a good active nursing bra.
I came across Rob, from Yummy Mummy Lingerie on her Instagram page @yummy_mummy_lingerie. It was so refreshing to get the answers I needed promptly to my comments I made on her page. Before I knew it was getting sized up for a nursing, sports bra. Yes I was doing this all over the Internet too. This was perfect for me too as I had a new born baby, I didn’t have lots of spare time to be off trying of nursing, sports bras either.
A few days later I received the parcel with the @Cadenshae nursing bra. I tried it on and was a great fit. I even felt like I got a pair of new boobies from the shop too. They made my boobs look great.
The bra contained little clasps to undo to make feeding access, quick and easy to do. I was able to top Cruz up quickly at the gym too, pre workout.
Being a active mum, I spend a lot of time in my active wear. From being comfortable at home, shopping, walking and training at Hiit I wanted something that would accomodate all mine and my babies needs. Something I could use everyday.

I cannot stand when the material that covers the breast goes lumpy. I believe these bras were built to last.
