Making pregnancy that little bit easier with @fertilemind

Being pregnant is an exciting time in your life. You get to welcome a new little bubba into the world. However sometimes it can be a bit of a challenge throughout those 9 months to stay comfortable and still do the things you love while carrying that bundle of joy.

I have recently teamed up with @fertilemind as an brand ambassador. I was super excited for this collaboration as I got to trial some goodies that made my #bumplife easier. I thought I would share with you all the products I have trialled and grown to love and why?

Firstly a little about Fertile Mind

Christine is the founder of the Australian company, Fertile Mind. This gorgeous lady knows first hand what a growing mumma, new mumma and her baby needs to blossom as she is a mum of four herself. With her business partner Pete, they disign, manufactures and distribute, maternity accessories such as belly belt (Christine’s invention), maternity clothes, maternity tops, maternity jeans, baby carriers and breastfeeding pillows. Christine stocks some big brands you will already know and love as well as distributing her own designs.

A little under a month ago I received a very helpful maternity bundle from Fertile Mind, filled with amazing products to make my pregnancy that little bit more easier and comfortable.

I received some maternity knickers, maternity activewear tights, the belly belt (argh-MAZING), nursing every day bra (do I have to take it off) and a cute little comfort toy for Cruzie as a special thank you gift.

Enji Activewear Maternity Tights and SuperBra Nursing & Maternity Bra

These Enji Fertile Mind Activewear Tights are so supportive, I have worn these maternity tights so much. Literally in the wash and back on my legs and over my bump haha. I wish I knew about buying a good pair of maternity tights like these sooner! They have a good amount of stretch in them but not to much either. They are still supportive enough to stay up during the different stages of your bump growth. I love the high waisted band as it helps to hold the bump up when exercising, perfect for low to high intensity workouts. They are the perfect style to team with your favourite active wear tops and do not scream “daggy maternity” at all. I think they will be great post birth to as they have the supportive high waist band around the stomach 10/10 from me! LOVE!

Fertile Mind SuperBra for Maternity and Nurisng.

This is the Fertile Mind SuperBra, I wish I had one for every day of the week. Feels so nice on the top of my bump and is so comfortable you can sleep in it. I am still a B nearly a C cup and I love it. This is another item of clothing that ends up on me or in the wash. Different sizes available. You can also breastfeed in this bra to, so it will take you through your maternity to postpartum journey. I will probably still be wearing this baby a few years later to haha. Probably should invest in more of them . So so comfy! Highly recommend! I have read so many positive reviews on this little number! Definitely a winner in my books.

Fertile Mind Belly Belt

Now these little pieces of material are a blessing to all women! They extend the life of your pre pregnancy wardrobe in the pant department. So you don’t have to say goodbye to your favourite jeans just yet (unless your arse grows to big for them like mine hahaha) but I have been able to wear my favourite work pants without slipping on the horrible maternity style ones from my work (thank god). So the Fertile Mind Belly Belt is definitely something I believe would be a great investment to add to your wardrobe. Plus the Belly Belt is such a great price, it is only 24.99, which is so much cheaper than buying lots of expensive maternity pants.

Without the belt trying to wear my favourite pants hahaha
2 Perfect Fit Maternity Knickers

The 2 Perfect Fit Maternity Knickers are super comfortable, they fit just under the bump. They have soft, broad elastic bands so they don’t leave those nasty lines behind on your tummy. I love how they don’t restrict your tummy and are perfect teamed with a belly band around your tummy for extra support.

Cruzie with his little comforter doggies from @fertilemind
Loves it so much. Has snuggles it every sleep since he got it

Cruzies favourite of all from the bundle is the little comfort doggie. Perfect to help him settle for his naps. Especially when mumma is busy with the newborn. So thanks for this extra special gift for Cruz, Fertile Mind he adores it.

Thank you so much for reading. I hope you gained some useful knowledge about these amazing products to help make pregnancy a little bit easier for you all as it did for me.

Pregnancy Emotions. Pregnancy Style. Pregnancy Exercise. Pregnancy Eating.

Lets get the emotional side of the blog over with first then on to the positives hahaha! These weeks were very emotional again for me. The thing I struggled with the most is the tiredness and again the vomiting which then led me to feeling overwhelmed. The vomiting wasn’t as bad as I had found a few things to help ease it. I was very overwhelmed though because I still had to adult and take care of a toddler and be pregnant.  I wanted to do everything that I could do just 4 weeks ago. I wanted to train like a machine everyday to release the emotions but my body so so wrecked I just wanted to sleep.  I wanted to be the best mummy I could be, but I felt I couldn’t because I felt I couldn’t even look after me. Okay poor me right? hahaha thats exactly what I thought at the time. But we got through it. With the help of Dave we did get through it as a family. You have too. I had to adult as I was a mother and I was also someone’s nurse when I was at work. Thank god week 11 came by and these cray cray emotions eased. I found it very helpful having the support from loved ones and friends. Someone I am close to is also pregnant and it helped having her to vent with and talk about pregnancy with. I also found it great to hang out with my gorgeous friends that didn’t have children as I could talk everything but pregnancy. Which was a lovely change.

Sleep was also my saviour. I found that even just 10minutes would help rejuvenate me and make me feel alive again. I had to remember there is always someone worse off and it was just a phase of the pregnancy. David though sex would help (typical male hahahahhaha) but I was like stay the hell away from me I don’t wanna be touched hahaha, until week 11 then I was like huggggggg me, cuddle me Dave hahaha! Poor Dave can’t keep up with me.

I also found reflexology very relaxing and would help me wine down. I mean what pregnant woman doesn’t love a foot rub right?

Even though I haven’t been myself the last 8 weeks, seeing bub on the screen at week 12 was an absoulte wonderful experience. It made me so grateful that we get to add a new addition to our little tribe that I already love so much. So many smiles between david and I.

Pregnancy Announcement

Exercise, to be honest it was the last thing I felt like doing feeling run down, but after it, it was like whoah!!!! Why didn’t I do it sooner? (maybe thats what Dave was on about with the sex thing tooo… haha we won’t tell him he is right to much). I continued to do at 30 minutes of walking about 5 -6 days a week with Evie and Cruz in the pram. I went to weights and Mauy Thai classes at HIIT AUSTRALIA about 2-3 times a week and felt AMAZING after, wish I could get to more. Continued to do at least 2 yoga and stretching  home workout by Katie Appleton on youtube in my lounge room. I also found a great little pilates workout I would randomly use from youtube as well, it was by BodyFit Amy.

With workout wear I am still able to wear most of my Lorna Jane activewear, loving my  @mummactiv nursing tank that also grows with my bump too.

Food well most of you thought I went vegan. Giving my posts it was all plant based foods as I could not stand meat, eggs, or dairy. I was also craving carbs all the time so I used Loni Jane – Feel the Lean book for inpso so I kept my body nourished

Banana Nice Cream

Banana and Strawberry Smoothie
Tofu Vietnamese Salad Bowl

Bump Style – I have been loving wearing basics for everyday wear, I found some great basics from Blossom and Glow. Great to pair with shorts, leggings, overalls and they are so comfy.
